A young child sitting on a sandy beach, eating a banana and holding a container, with boats on the water and a mountain in the background.

This is a picture of me sat on a beach in Hong Kong aged two.

You can tell by my expression that I am obsessing over the flavour of the ice lolly, does it offset the flavour of my drink nicely? Does it work?

The little things, they matter right? My partner would say that I’m high maintenance. I say, I know what I like.

I haven’t changed much.

As a photographer I’m drawn to people who live their lives slightly beyond the lines. Underdogs and triers. I like to make hero’s of them in my images.

I like to make pictures that viewers can see something of themselves in. Photos that invite questions.

I’m interested in community, heritage and sub-culture and how our environment shapes us, our connection to the landscape. People.

Heritage and rebellion in equal measures.

I travel widely but like my own bed.

Oh, and I’m easy to work with (apparently).
